Description

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a casualty who is unconscious and not breathing normally, in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

CPR is a lifesaving technique which can sustain life until an ambulance arrives. You will gain the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR on an adult, child and infant, to describe alternative methods for delivering rescue breaths and how to manage a victim of drowning.

The Safe Work Australia First Aid in the Workplace Model Code of Practice requires employers to ensure that their nominated first aiders attend training on a regular basis to remain current.
The Code of Practice recommends that refresher training in CPR should be carried out annually (12 months) and first aid qualifications should be renewed every three (3) years.

Price: $90.00 AUD including GST.
